What does Americans for Limited Government do?
ALG is dedicated to putting the principles of limited government into action. We work with local groups across the nation to promote freedom, limited government, and the principles of the U.S. Constitution.

For decades, there has been an increasing trend of viewing the government as the only solution to the economic, social, and political issues that face our country. Large and intrusive state and federal governments, however, often cause more problems than they solve. Examples of this include:

• Out-of-control government spending that puts government bureaucrats in charge of your hard-earned dollars;
• Violations of private property rights by state and local governments in search of higher tax revenue;
• Public school systems sinking into disrepair, catering to unions and bureaucrats rather than students and parents.
• Government agencies lobbying with taxpayer dollars to enhance their budgets.

ALG works to harness the power of American citizens and grassroots groups in order to put the people back in charge in states across the country.
